SAP Master Data Specialist

We offer

The SAP Master data specialist will be working closely with our Product Management team in Switzerland to maintain and create state of the art solutions and configuration packages, be in charge of maintaining already existing solutions as well as designing and developing new variants. You will be reporting directly to our Director, Product Management.

Key responsibilities

As our SAP Master data specialist your task will include the following:

  • Modeling of product master data and variant configuration in corporation with product management and sales regions in product innovation projects
  • Creation and maintenance of product data structures in SAP
  • Product master data distribution to distribution centers and sales organizations
  • Maintenance of Product Catalogs and Price Books
  • Further support for development of interfaces for the automation and distribution of software licenses and subscriptions
  • Participation in project teams (products, processes)
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a common and effective approach to teamwork
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes within the LMC team
  • Actively participate in cross training and knowledge transfer initiatives across functional teams

Your profile

We expect you to have a higher education with a focus on Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering or similar. Aside from this, the following qualities are pivotal to achieving the expected results:

  • Experience with configurator tools is highly favorable
  • Strong ability to think analytical, strategical and very process oriented
  • Working knowledge of SAP (MM, SD) and understanding of CAD software Packages
  • Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and experience on innovative technologies and to use the knowledge to provide customer support and training
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate product information and technical support effectively to a non-technical audience
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with focus on processes and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels and functions
  • High motivation level, agile, pro-active, flexible team player, customer focused
  • Desire to work within an international development team
  • Ability to set and meet team and individual goals and deadlines
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and yet be fully accountable for assigned work
  • Keen sense of urgency, reliability, responsibility and accountability
  • General understanding of the product lifecycle viewed favorably
  • Work experience in construction industry viewed favorably
  • Fluent in English (verbal/written) is a prerequisite – Danish/German would be an advantage
  • Fluent working knowledge of MS suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
