As an employee of PentaBase A/S, your primary tasks will include:
- Understanding and performing various practical tasks in our laboratory.
- Registration, preparation, and analysis of test material.
- Approving and responding to results of PCR analyses.
- Operational assignments and troubleshooting of everyday tasks.
- Direct contact with private and corporate customers as well as providing customer service by phone and email.
Your education, experience and qualifications:
You are a trained bioanalyst, molecular biologist, or biochemist and have a biomedicinal or another relevant background.
Additionally, we would like you to have:
- Experience with laboratory work.
- Experience with molecular techniques - including real-time PCR.
- Experience with ELISA.
- Flair for IT and technology.
- Flexibility in terms of working hours and location.
Of personal qualifications, we would like you to:
- Be a team player but at the same time know how to work independently.
- Be structured and detail-oriented.
- Be able to keep an overview in pressured situations.
- Possess a driver's license.
- Live in Esbjerg or the surrounding area.

Since 2006, PentaBase A/S has provided innovative cancer diagnostics to international customers and the Danish healthcare system through PCR-based DNA technology. When the Corona pandemic hit the world in 2020, PentaBase, in collaboration with Rigshospitalet and Novo Nordisk, developed a fast and accurate PCR test, which is the only Danish developed and produced diagnostic tool.
