Scrum Master

Exerp successfully took the turn to become Agile, implementing Scrum. But we know that it is not a state but a journey… We will never be Agile enough, we can always improve. And we understand the key roles Scrum Masters are playing in transforming, not only the engineering division, but also the rest of the organization to be Agile. Therefore, we are looking to add a Scrum Master to our Agile coaching team.

Agile is about self-organizing and cross functional teams iteratively delivering great and quality products. People and teams are Agile, not projects. Scrum is not a methodology but a framework (yes, quite prescriptive) that, on top of in-depth knowledge, requires intimate understanding for you to leverage its freedom and strengthen the agility of your team(s) and the overall organization.

We expect you to have:

  • 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master, servicing Product Owner, Development Team and the Organization as a whole;
  • Experience in coaching development people and teams, taking various stances (teaching, coaching, advising, mentoring, leading by example…);
  • Skills and experience in influencing and coaching throughout the entire Organization to facilitate its Scrum adoption;
  • Experience acting as a servant leader, facilitator, and skills to resolve conflicts;
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English, as it is our common corporate language.

We will consider it an asset if you have:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field;
  • Experience with software development (programmer, tester, business analyst…);
  • Knowledge and experience with techniques widely used in Agile context: user stories, continuous integration, continuous deployment, TDD, BDD, test automation…;
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
