Seeking a Scrum Master to join our Payments International unit

At Nets, you’ll develop in a fast-growing tech company in a high-impact market. Value Added Services is a department of IT Payments International, responsible for developing added-value products that leverage our instant payments platform, RealTime 24/7. Payments International is responsible for three important areas of business in Nets: Open Banking, Omnibilling and Clearing Services. Instant Payments is a high priority growth area – an area where we have a market leading product that has won some of Europe’s biggest bids over the last few of years.
On 6 August 2019, Nets entered into an agreement with Mastercard, selling its account-to-account based services which . This is the largest acquisition ever made by Mastercard and a move for this leading global payments player to embrace the real-time payments opportunity and further strengthen its unique position as the one-stop partner for any bank. Therefore, this position will transfer to Mastercard with approximately 275 other dedicated employees upon closing of the deal which is expected in Q4 2020.

In this role, you’ll join an open and sharing community with highly skilled colleagues. We are searching for a Scrum Master with technical skills, and passion for agile practises and continuous improvements. As Scrum Master you will be the process owner with the responsibility to improve the process and ways of working. You will get the chance to coach one or more awesome teams, facilitate sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives as well as working close with skilled and enthusiastic product owners.
Your key tasks and responsibilities are:
- Interaction with Product Owner and participate in grooming of incoming product backlog items
- Managing agile development meetings with the team as needed
- Facilitate cross-team activities like weekly team/component sync meetings
- Handling Capacity planning, Velocity, and coordinating estimations and priorities

Your tech skills and experience form most of your qualifications, but it’s also your personality that makes the difference at Nets. Your professional qualifications include:
- Scrum Master certification
- Experience in Scrum methodology and Kanban, working with software development teams
- Experience with Jira and Jira Portfolio
- Experience with distributed Scrum teams
Among you personal qualities, we are looking for:
- You have higher education in Information Technology, and take responsibility for your own development
- You speak Norwegian and English well, both oral and in writing
- Understanding of development processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and self-driven
- You are committed to deliver solutions for demanding customers and users
