Be part of establishing a security risk team for national infrastructure and growth
We are looking for a Risk & compliance manager with competence within information security, compliance and risk management. You will as part of a new team working with establishing and optimizing security risk governance and management capable of growth and currently oriented towards the business units provisioning secured solutions such as critical national infrastructure services in NemID, NemLog-in and MitID products.

We are to hire a new high performing team that besides this role and an existing security manager, will consist of a:

  • 1) Security Compliance Specialist
  • 2) Compliance specialist
  • 3) Audit/Assurance Manager
  • 4) Senior security compliance specialist

Many skilled Nets employees work every day in this IT security environment and use modern techniques, know-how and processes to comply with requirements, rules, laws, threats and policies. Thus, users, customers and citizens can use systems and be safe – at all times.

One of these departments, eID & Digitisation, is today handling critical national infrastructure solutions such as NemID (DK) MitID (DK) and NemLog-in (DK). These are the common secure login on the Internet, whether you are doing your online banking, finding out information from the public authorities or engaging with one of the many businesses that use NemID, MitID and NemLog-in. 

Nets provide the technology ecosystem for NemID in Denmark, on behalf of the Danish Agency of Digitisation and the Danish banks. The eSecurity & Digitisation unit at Nets is in search of a Risk & Compliance Manager and the above-mentioned profiles for this newly established team.

The working location will be at our offices in Lautrupvang, Ballerup – Nordic travel activity should be expected, in total approx. 10 days per year.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

  • Develop and maintain all aspects of the Risk Management & Compliance framework within the governance function of the department
  • Support the comprehensive risk identification, monitoring, escalation and approval processes
  • Liaise with Risk and Compliance colleagues across the Group to support the oversight and management of key regulatory risks
  • Monitor risk levels including the department's overall risk profile against risk appetite.
  • Identify and report on exceptions to established risk limits, self-imposed constraints and risk tolerances.
  • Support the effective analysis and assessment of major risks (including new or emerging risks) being faced or assumed by the department, and related risk management processes.
  • Support and encourage a strong and appropriate risk and compliance conduct and culture across the organisation

Qualifications

Your professional qualifications and background should include:

  • Relevant higher education e.g. Master of Science in Business Administration and Information Systems, Engineering or Computer Science - relevant experience could compensate for this
  • Have at least 5 years experience with information security and/or information risk management roles and experience with IT security
  • Knowledge of risk tools supporting decisions in project management, IT security, business continuity and production
  • Experience with security risk and compliance from a regulated area/industry
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and identity- and trust services (eID, PKI etc.) will be considered as a plus
  • Knowledge about GDPR requirements
  • Large and complex IT security project experience will be considered an advantage
  • Are familiar with ISO27001 and 27002
  • Are familiar with 27005, ISO31000 or equivalent
  • Certifications such as CISM, CISSP etc. are considered as a plus

Of your qualifications we would value:

  • Fluent in Danish and English language in written and verbally
  • Highly perceptive and methodical
  • Ability to gain complex knowledge and utilize it on new technologies and solutions, emerging threats and vulnerabilities
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage several initiatives/projects and keep this on-track simultaneously
  • Ability to effectively manage your own time and the priorities
  • Good interpersonal skills

You must have a clear criminal record and must be able to obtain security clearance at the level “Secret”.
