The Senior Account Executive at Microsoft serves as the face of Microsoft leading our most valued customers into the digital age. This role is vital to Microsoft’s competitive ambitions. Traditional sales engagement methods have evolved and customers are seeking consultative partnerships, not vendor-customer relationships. Armed with world class cloud solutions, your role is to unlock the potential of government sector customers by demonstrating clear business value accelerating their digital transition and success. High level customer satisfaction is a key measure, as are revenue/consumption targets. You will develop and take our leading digital transformation partnership with government customers to the next level and leverage the possibilities of cloud computing, AI and data driven decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Build C-level supported customer plan, services and new business opportunities
  • Deliver innovative ideas and industry relevant solutions to accelerate efficient, impactful and cost-effective customer digital transformation and cloud success
  • Achieve revenue and consumption targets through disciplined pipeline and forecast management
  • Use key business insights to elevate customer priorities, conversation and action
  • Orchestrate opportunity ownership, virtual selling team and all Microsoft resources to maximize revenue opportunity

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead, build trust and be highly credible across levels of organizations
  • About 10 years work experience in total, a minimum 5 years of which should be from within a commercial sales or business capacity gained from within the IT or consulting industries or alternatively from within local or central government or other public sector institution
  • Ability to make confident recommendations to C-level business decision makers
  • Fluency in Danish, both spoken and written
