Senior Account Executive (Senior Manager)

Job Description

What's it all about?

This is an opportunity to develop Visa Europe’s relationships with key clients and potential clients in the region, ensuring their needs are met and incorporated in to Visa’s products and services. A great part of the assignment will as well be to on-board new clients to Visa. You’ll be based within the local office, and will be responsible for nurturing important relationships and business cases and building up new relationships. We expect you to drive and manage the business/account plan for the assigned accounts and drive new business to Visa. The New Business and Market Development team at Visa wants to be highly energised, innovative and commercial and is an exciting division to work in.

This is a demanding and challenging role but one which provides a perfect opportunity for you to develop a career within Visa Europe as a real international company.

 

What we expect, day to day:

  • Drive and manage the business/account plan for the assigned accounts, agreeing with the business unit lead and Country Managers what actions will be required for their product/portfolio and payment business with Visa in general.
  • Manages a product portfolio for the regional or signature accounts, ensuring clients are provided appropriate support from Visa Europe.
  • Works with potentially new clients of Visas to identify new and ongoing requirements, introducing new products and services as appropriate.
  • Actively promote the development of the clients card and payment business. Identify and create new business opportunities.
  • Works closely with the assigned clients, regularly liaising with multiple key stakeholders and ensuring an ongoing quality relationship is maintained and developed.
  • Working higher, wider and deeper with the clients and within their organisations

Qualifications

What we're after..

  • Previous sales or product management experience with excellent knowledge and experience of the payments business and/or financial services in the Nordics and Baltics and Denmark especially.
  • Commercial understanding, the ability to identify opportunities and propose solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels within own client business
  • Proven influencing, selling and negotiation skills
  • Proven experience within the RFP and migration processes
