Senior Business Controller with an interest in vendor management

About the position
Based at the KMD headquarter in Ballerup, you will report to the Head of Controlling Department. You will take on the role as Senior Business Controller with a dedicated focus on a high priority and large-scale strategic transition and transformation project involving a global external partner.

In the position you will be participating in the transition and transformation process, keeping the business case updated and following closely up on risks and value adding’s. You will act as a trusted advisor to the Technology & Security Services (TSS) management team in KMD as well as other relevant stakeholders in the organization. Due to the high priority, strategic focus and complexity of the project stakeholder management will be an important part of the role. 
 

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Establish and reporting the financial overview of our key vendor agreements, including Business case status etc.
  • Drive financial results and maintain a close dialogue with TSS senior management and Procurement, Vendor management. Support decision making with financial data and analysis
  • Ensure close focus on value adds and optimization during Transition and Transformation or implementation and operations 
  • Handling and driving financial matters and working closely together with other controllers and the rest of finance
  • Contribute and take responsibility in implementing or adjusting key operational processes

 

About you
To succeed in the position, it is required that you have an educational background within finance, law or supply chain management supplemented with relevant professional experience. It is considered a plus if you have experience from a similar position in a larger IT organization or related industries.


Moreover, we are looking for:

  • A team player with excellent commercial understanding and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility to deliver the best service to the busines
  • Ability to prioritize the tasks at hand and meet deadlines 


Since you will be working in an international environment it is required that you are proficient in both spoken and written English and Danish.
