You will be part of the Business Unit Service and you will be responsible for total Purchasing Volume (PVO) of an assigned (Sub) Commodity (with the focus on Pooling). How to contribute to our vision Implement commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of major components and spare parts Contribute to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems) Prepare and conduct negotiations to obtain highest feasible savings Prepare, execute and moderate awarding negotiations which includes concluding the contract as well as reporting Generate documents and implement savings to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent Implement and maintain master data and purchasing info records for spare parts Monitor the markets worldwide to create a basis for deciding the optimum sourcing strategy and cooperation with the best suppliers Ensure a close cooperation with internal customers (requisitioners) to ensure customer care and early involvement Coordinate the flow of information to the regional units as well as to the main interfaces e.g. Operations, Project, Sales Perform supplier management, in particular supplier development to obtain and develop the best suppliers and to ensure an optimum supply chain What you need to make a difference Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for… Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Mechanical Engineering Design. At least 5 years of work experience in the area of service procurement, preferably with direct materials, combined with good analytical skills. Advanced experience in SAP and MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Proficiency in English and German, both oral and in written. Multitasking comes easy to you, and you are used to working on multiple tasks i.e. simultaneously, while keeping deadlines and staying organized. Strong communication skills and know how to talk with different stakeholders and suppliers. Flexibility to travel after the pandemic for 10-20%.
