Arla´s Foodservice business is growing and we are expanding our Global organization to reflect our Future26 strategy ambitions. We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Channel Manager Organized Chains, whose responsibility is to grow our business with targeted Global QSR chains and to support the people in our markets to win with their targeted local FSR & QSR organized chains.

The role reports to the Director, Channel, Digital and E-Comm Global Foodservice and will assume team management in addition to close collaboration with local markets.

About the job

As our new Senior Channel Manager for organised chains, you will be in charge of developing and implementing the Channel Strategy for QSR & FSR channels to deliver on Arla´s Future 26 Strategy for foodservice: winning with organized chains through world class key account management. As such, your role (together with the markets and a direct team that is to be formed in the near future) is to attract, acquire, grow and retain targeted global organized chains prospects and customers.

As the leader of the global Center of Excellence within Key Account management, you will drive and embed solution selling and sales funnel management as ways of working to win targeted organized FSR & QSR customers in our local markets.

This is a high profile role that requires skillful collaboration cross-functional teams across Arla, in global foodservice teams and in local markets teams, not to mention external parties and customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Annual customer strategies and joint business plans with defined global organized chains customers
  • Annual operational business plan for attract and acquire global organized chains prospects
  • Monthly performance reporting & action plans regarding defined global organized chains customers and prospects
  • Monthly performance reporting & action plans with markets regarding planned conversion rates of NPD launches with local Chained FSR & QSR customers and prospects
  • Support local markets in flawless execution of the Go to Market Strategy for NPDs with local chained QSR/FSR customers and prospects via kick-off roadshows, annual operational business planning and the use of solution selling and sales funnel management methods
  • Steer commercializing sustainability agenda with global organized chains customers & prospects
  • We aim that all roles will be flexible in where they can be located within our EU markets. If not based in Denmark, you will have the flexibility to travel around approximately 6 days per month to Denmark or other European markets, and otherwise work from home or utilize one of our European offices.

    Who are you?

    The right candidate for this position brings a thorough understanding of and experience with QSR and FSR customers, through minimum seven years of commercial experience, including foodservice exposure.

    You have demonstrated experience and results with solution selling and sales funnel management, and know how to attract and acquire global organized QSR chains. Your high level of energy has a positive effect on your environment, enabling you to secure buy-in from the markets. At the same time, you have a disciplined and structured approach to following up. You are diligent and collaborative, as success in this role depends on effective (sales funnel management) processes across teams and locations.

    As you will be leading a team, you are a skilled people person who knows how to influence and motivate both directly and indirectly, and you enjoy setting direction and to take the lead. People management experience is therefore a plus but not a strict requirement.

    Finally, as English is our corporate language, good working proficiency is required.
