Senior Consultant, Business Digital Optimization

 

Overview

Sitecore is looking for a Sr. Consultant, who will be working as part of the global Business Optimization Services team. The position is based in EMEA, ideally located near our London, UK or Copenhagen, DK office. The individual will be responsible for combining digital marketing optimization knowledge with Sitecore product expertise to maximize the business value from Sitecore optimization and analytics capabilities, which will be delivered through strategy consultation and hands-on product configuration demonstrations.

Role Summary

The Sr. Consultant role provides an exciting opportunity to work closely with Sitecore customers and partners to help drive the successful adoption and ongoing use of Sitecore Experience Platform through leading customer engagements end-to-end – from strategic planning & roadmap creation through configuration and measurement. You will have the opportunity to develop and use Sitecore Context Marketing best practices and take the lead in challenging settings such as customer stakeholder workshops for product adoption, digital strategy consultation, strategic product programs aimed at key customers and partners, and leading hands-on demonstrations on how to configure Sitecore’s context marketing product capabilities.

  • Lead initiatives such as customer stakeholder workshops – aimed at Context Marketing adoption – that you propose, plan, execute and follow up while leveraging Sitecore product knowledge
  • Assess maturity of Sitecore customers in terms of the organizational ability to provide data-driven, digitally optimized, customer experiences; you will subsequently use Sitecore Context Marketing best practices to deliver services intended to enable customers and partners to achieve higher levels of maturity and business success using Sitecore Experience Platform
  • Configure Sitecore Context Marketing capabilities, including data taxonomies, goals (and assigning them to pages or click actions), outcomes, profiles (and assigning them to pages); as well as configure campaign, goal and asset facets.
  • Configure and optimize rules-based and profile-based (predictive) personalization tactics and experience automation plans. Work with the core team as well as extended marketing team members to develop specific tactics targeting top segments, and translate them into precise configurations in the Sitecore platform
  • Manage, measure and optimize experience initiatives, particularly by using A/B and MV tests, but also using Sitecore Experience Explorer and analytics dashboards.
  • Document test and program results (with the digital analyst) to enable continuous optimization and support for business cases and budget justifications.
  • Coordinate and execute structured and ad hoc services that range from digital marketing strategy to product guidance regarding questions such as implementation and hands on use of Sitecore Context Marketing products
  • Advise customers and partners regarding the effective use of Context Marketing from a product perspective; herein, you will advise customers regarding product capabilities such as Experience Analytics, data-driven personalization, real-time visitor profiling, testing, Experience Automation, Campaign management, Email Experience Manager, etc.
  • Continuously build your knowledge of Sitecore products within Context Marketing, as the products line gains new versions and expand with new capabilities within xConnect, Machine Learning (Cortex), and Marketing Automation.

 

The successful candidate will

  • Have 5+ years of relevant working experience with marketing technology such as Content Management, Marketing Automation, Optimization, Audience Management, Analytics and/or CRM.
  • Hands-on digital optimization knowledge (including hands on experience with A/B testing or personalization).
  • Training and at least some experience with Sitecore Digital Marketing System or Sitecore Experience Platform, including hands-on configuration of personalization and Experience Analytics.
  • Digital analytics experience including data analysis and presentation of insights to different stakeholders using Sitecore, Google and other analytic services. As importantly, innate curiosity and passion for becoming truly data driven in a rapid testing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to combine business acumen with effective tactical execution.
  • Familiarity with technical aspects of execution so can effectively work with the technical team on customization, data integration and other requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge and real curiosity regarding adjacent competencies such as content marketing lifecycle and related content management, lead management and CRM, UX, analytics, digital strategy, customer segmentation, social marketing, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and adjust to the needs of a fast-changing extended team environment.
  • Excellent digital optimization knowledge (including hands on experience with A/B testing and personalization)
  • Strong analytical skills ensuring an understanding of customers' challenges as well as business opportunities
