Senior Corporate Responsibility Manager (15942)

New Senior Corporate Responsibility Manager for international Fintech company Nets

Are you passionate about making sustainability and responsibility integrated parts of business decisions while driving forward the digital agenda? Then you might be the new Senior Corporate Responsibility Manager we are looking for.

Changing the future of payments takes strong personalities

At Nets, you’ll develop in a fast-growing tech company in a high-paced, high-impact market. Working to change the future of payments, it’s not just skills and ambition that gets the job done, it’s the full package that makes the difference. Together, we impact the lives of everyone around us by powering an easier tomorrow for every citizen, bank, business and colleague. What powers you at work?

We are searching for a proactive and structured corporate responsibility manager to lead Nets’ efforts on sustainability and responsibility, at a time where demands from customers, partners, stakeholders and authorities are constantly increasing. The position is anchored in Brand & Stakeholder Management within Group Communications, and you will be reporting to the Vice President for Stakeholder & Brand Management & Communication Partners.

You’ll be powering our Group Communications

As Senior Corporate Responsibility Manager you’ll join an open and sharing community with highly skilled colleagues. You can come as you are and be at your best at Nets. You’ll even find the freedom to balance an exciting job with life outside of work.

Responsibility at Nets cuts across several aspects of the business, from integrating responsibility into our business activities and products to our everyday energy consumption and procurement processes. The Senior Corporate Responsibility Manager will take Nets’ corporate responsibility efforts to the next level and have the overall responsibility for managing, controlling, and guiding the corporate responsibility work and processes.

Based on your previous experience from the corporate world, you will help foster and implement a strong responsibility culture and implement a tool-based approach to corporate responsibility.

You will be the sole full-time Corporate Responsibility manager, but you will definitely not be the sole contributor to a common and increasingly important agenda involving multiple internal stakeholders across the Group. You will identify, prioritise and scope the right initiatives together with the Business Units and in close collaboration with partners in HR, Procurement, Facility Management and Compliance.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Drive forward the strategic responsibility agenda anchored in the CSR Steering Committee.
  • Further development and activation of our corporate responsibility framework, including further automation of internal processes and procedures.
  • Ensure that Nets remains on top of new legislation, standards, new initiatives and customer demands.
  • Report on responsibility efforts: corporate annual report, ESG reporting, Communication on Progress to UN Global Compact.
  • Support the screening and auditing of suppliers and business partners ensuring that they adhere to the Nets code of conduct.
  • Assessing new business opportunities related to sustainability and responsibility together with the Business Units.

Skills, ambition and that little personal twist make you succeed

Your professional skills and experience form most of your qualifications, but it’s also your personality that makes the difference at Nets.

Your professional qualifications and background should preferably include:

  • A relevant academic background.
  • A minimum of several years of professional experience working with sustainability and responsibility issues, processes and reporting.
  • Experience from a complex international organisation, covering multiple locations, suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Project management experience and experience from managing own responsibilities, clients, portfolios, etc.
  • Practical experience applying international standards to an organisation and working professionally with the principles of the UN Global Compact and the UN SDGs.
  • Strong network in the responsibility and sustainability arena.
  • Proficiency in English.

You will fit into this role if you have a strong personal drive, as well as the ability to set clear targets and drive things forward in a structured way. You are proactive, ambitious and forward-looking, and thrive for results. You are trustworthy and self-confident, with the ability to challenge and influence business leaders and senior management. You have a can-do and constructive problem-solving attitude when meeting challenges.
