Senior Creative Artworker


Location: Copenhagen

This is:

A key role within a growing future-focused design company, that is fundamental to the quality of our end product.


We need you to:

Champion artwork excellence in your approach and your process to deliver efficient, profitable artwork solutions, which inspire, excite, reassure and provide confidence to our clients and our own team in equal measure.


This role requires the highest level of: 

Technical excellence / Attention to detail / Responsibility / Collaboration / Professionalism


You will show us that you:

  • Have managed and led artwork rollout projects for multiple SKUs and product lines 
  • Produce accurate, consistent digital artworks and support files to the very highest of standards
  • Can work to tight deadlines in a fluid and fast-moving context
  • Have an excellent understanding of print processes such as flexo, litho, digital and gravure and can share that knowledge at the early stages of a project both internally and externally
  • Regularly liaise with clients, printers and suppliers to achieve the optimum results for the design concept 
  • Take responsibility for artwork delivery and have a ‘first time right’ approach
  • Are a Nordic language speaker with an EU passport or work permit

The bare minimum we need from you is: 

Three years’ experience as an artworker within a design agency working with high-profile and demanding clients across digital, packaging and print-related projects. A diverse portfolio of work.


And the technical skills needed for the role are:

An excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).


The role in detail

As a Senior Creative Artworker, you will be measured on:

i. Approach

  • Produce accurate, consistent, digital artwork and support files to the very highest of standards for a variety of digital, packaging and print-related processes.
  • Bring enthusiasm and energy to your role, whilst motivating others to do the same thing.
  • Manage artwork projects and timings to meet specified deadlines.
  • Provide guidance and support to create a pro-active, positive, responsibility-taking approach that translates into on-time and on-budget artwork delivery.
  • Ensure all colour management and related proofing material is accurate and suitable for target and matching purposes.
  • When required, provide input on incoming project material (i.e. existing digital artwork files, proofs, cutters, mock-ups etc).

ii. Relationships

  • Collaborate closely with the Strategic Creative Director and the Client Management team to find the optimum way of realising the design intent from the outset of projects. 
  • Mentor more junior members of the artwork team and lead and inspire by example.
  • Work in a connected, agile and imaginative way with the broader Pearlfisher team. 

iii. Thinking broader

  • Continually seek opportunities to realise brands in the most sustainable way possible.
  • Adhere to Pearlfisher Compliance principles when creating all support material, internal and external presentations and final files.
  • Demonstrate self-awareness and the ability to communicate up and down.
  • Work with the wider Design team to champion, develop and maintain a ‘best practice’ policy for our artwork to ensure we increase the standards of our output and throughput.
  • Self-initiate development of your own skills to broaden and enrich the Pearlfisher Design Studio capability.

Reporting structure:

You will report directly to Pearlfisher Copenhagen’s Strategic Creative Director and will also work in close collaboration with all other Pearlfisher teams.
