As our senior manager, Product Technical Management, you will be the lead of 4 product technical managers. And together with the Director of Products and Projects, you will be responsible for deciding the technical direction for our HVAC OEM standard product portfolio and its technical product platforms.

You get to collaborate with a large spectrum of stakeholders. Key account managers, customers, developers and our production plants are just some of your main points of contact as you work to ensure product performance, quality and profitability. You do so as you:

  • Drive and prioritise technical quality improvements, cost-out and legalisation activities
  • Ensure timely information and coordination with support and/or manufacturing units for successful implementation of product line changes or optimisations
  • Facilitate collaboration with technical and commercial key account managers for product and road map inputs
  • Perform product audits in production
  • Provide specialist knowledge to our development organization by participating in design reviews during development projects
  • Maintain product data, drawings, configurator, SAP data (classification, BOM)

“You get to combine hands-on work with your management responsibility. For example if we decide to implement Bluetooth or other technologies into our systems, you will play a large part in creating the new product specifications,”
says Senior Director of Products and Projects Steen Tøffner-Clausen.

Your qualifications

As a person, you have a strong drive to improve and challenge yourself. You may have some management or project management experience, and you enjoy working in a team. And as a dedicated team player, knowledge sharing is a natural part of the way you work. More specifically, you:

  • Possess great networking skills, and you speak and write English fluently
  • Have an engineering background – preferably within electronics or mechanics
  • Have 5 years of experience from a similar position – maybe you even have some management experience

“Actually, half of the pumps sold by Grundfos are from our portfolio. We make small but very energy efficient circulation pumps for mass production products for large customers such as Bosch and Vaillant,”
says Senior Director of Products and Projects Steen Tøffner-Clausen.
