Are you a skilled FEA specialist within mechanical simulations?

As our FEA specialist at Universal Robots, you will be part of a high-performance development team with the goal of shortening our development lead. Your passion to further develop our simulation and virtual development capabilities will spread across the department to create a new level of development.

In this role you will design for the future by:

  • Designing future products for the market
  • Working with FEA-simulation and design optimization
  • Manage different stakeholder’s communication to understand the supply chain and how it affects our production possibilities
  • Translate simulation results into understandable findings and communicate these to relevant stakeholders

Qualification, Experience, Skills & Educational background

  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in mechanical engineering with 3-5 years of relevant R&D experience
  • Experience with FEA – static, multibody dynamics, modal, fatigue, fracture, as well as multi-physics simulations
  • Experience with ANSYS and have knowledge of design optimization, programming (E.g. Python, APDL, MATLAB)
  • Experience with robust design and design specifications, e.g. FMEA, DFM, DFA
  • Preferably has knowledge of casted metals and FEA simulation verification and validation methodologies

As English is our corporate language, fluency is a must, Danish is a plus but not required.
