Senior IT Management Consultant with a strong commercial mind-set (Copenhagen)

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Business Consultant with a strong commercial mindset who can take the role as Client Engagement Manager with 1-2 of our major Management Consulting clients.

The preferred candidate has experience in managing client engagements in the Public industry from the Management Consulting business - and can advise and drive delivery across Digital Services, Data & Analytics and/or Transformation of Business-Critical Systems.

Your responsibilities

You can expect to be deeply involved in 1-2 of our major client engagement teams, take part in obtaining client intelligence, identify pain points and inspire the customer. All this to ensure a role as trusted advisor for the customer. You will be involved in the strategy for the client engagement and the approach. Tasks can vary from sales work, over team orchestration to specific delivery responsibility.

For the perfect candidate this will require flexibility in terms of taking on various roles with our clients and presenting diverse services and capabilities to the client, of course depending on your experiences and competences. The key driver for you should be your curiosity and eagerness to continuously drive and develop client engagements.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Build and maintain relationships with the customers key stakeholders
  • Advise clients on adoption of new IT services and innovation
  • Address client issues and requests with speed and efficiency
  • Making the necessary analysis to identify pain points and ensure that NNIT always adds value and continuously develop the clients
  • Gather Consultants working with the client and identify and up- & cross-sell opportunities
  • Collaborate with NNIT Sales and Delivery teams to generate new business opportunities
  • Ensure that contractual obligations are met in client projects
  • Misc. administration on the Client Engagement (reports, invoicing etc.)
  • You will be part of NNIT Consulting and the Private & Public Client Team

We are approximately 180 consultants organized in a matrix with Client- and Service focused Teams. The candidate we are looking for is for our Private & Public Client Team in Copenhagen and will be working in Denmark.

    Your qualifications and experience

    Most importantly, you demonstrate great drive and motivation, a business-orientated mindset and the ability to lead your colleagues and client team members to do their outmost. You can take full control, make decisions and ensure progress in demanding situations.

    To succeed in this role, it is important that you have: 

  • Experience from Danish Central Government (as Consultant), including knowledge of demand to methods, standards and processes e.g. SIPMO
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as IT Management Consultant and/or IT Program/Project Manager, preferably with client responsibility
  • Have consulting industry experience and possess an advisory mind-set
  • A great passion for comprehending our clients’ context and seek an opportunity in identifying, driving and developing ongoing and new client engagements 
  • Have a commercial mindset
  • Experience from roles like Project or Program Manager, Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Change Manager, senior IT advisor or IT business partner
  • Experience from working in an integrated international delivery team
  • Comfortable with Executive Management dialogue and excellent presentation skills
  • Experience with data advisory withing e.g. MDM, Information Management / Business Intelligence / Enterprise Information is preferred, but not a must.
  • Danish as a first language
