Marketing Manager is responsible for the Consumer Strategy in the Nordics, leveraging category communications & innovation and adapting them to the Nordics markets. As a consequence, the AOP and a robust commercial calendar will be built across the Nordic markets of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.
Execute outstanding marketing calendar, adapt and course correct to local business, market, media & customer conditions. You’ll make commercial trade-offs (local refresh / budget / media plans) to allow for optimal AOP delivery, with local CLT (category leadership team).

- Build and develop close partnerships with our bottling partners, external agencies and broader internal stakeholder group.

Strategy Deployment:
- Senior partnership with category teams and across the matrix to execute approved strategy.
- Represent Market Unit perspective & requirements at all meetings (innovation / equity councils)
and SBP / AOP.

Marketing Plan AOP:
- Ownership for development & execution of local marketing calendar.
- Develop key account plans, promotional calendar and net rev (pack price) management with CLT.
- Local decision rights at Market Unit Activation Board. Ensure all key projects are passed through
activation board.
- Execution of efficient & effective media plan (including MMM/econometrics) and marketing
budget, maximizing working spend.

Customer / Shopper Engagement:
- Deliver customer engagement through compelling plans and add local customer activation as
- Build internal support through sales conference & key sales forums.

Consumer Engagement:
- Ensure all innovation, packaging / communications (IMC) and digital are locally relevant.

Course Correction:
- Responsibility for appropriate course correction with local CLT (and category where appropriate) to
deliver AOP commitments.

Functional leadership:
- People manager for a team of 5-6 FTE’s.
- Internally: Ensure Business Unit aligned and inspired by marketing plans. Fully supported by CLT and
category teams.
- Externally: Ensure suitable internal / external talent pipeline for local roles. Overall lead for local
agency selection, management & ongoing negotiation. Proactively seek external best-practice and
bring into the business.



  • University degree
  • +10 years commercial FMCG experience in marketing roles with proven track record
  • Proven track record with managing key stakeholders (senior level management)
  • Nordic responsibility held previously with proven track record
  • Significant brand management experience with proven track record
  • Up to date on Consumer trends and Media Habits
  • Strong agency management experience linked to marketing through multiple touch points
  • Strong understanding of how to leverage Consumer and Shopper Insights into strategy and marketing plan development
  • People Management positions held previously with proven track record
  • Strong budget management experience
  • Ability to travel when required (50-60 days a year)
  • Desired:
