Senior Programme Leader, Maersk Human Resources

We are looking for an experienced programme leader who can drive this transformation across brands and geographies. The initial objective of the programme will be to design a model and procure technology that truly can enable an integrated HR function, which provides an exceptional employee experience. The programme then will drive implementation of the newmodel and technology in the coming years.

You will report to the Head of HR Effectiveness. You will have a unique opportunity to stretch your capabilities and project toolbox by learning from, sparring with and building lasting relationships with diverse and professional colleagues, based in Headquarters and globally.

You will be a valued member of the HR Effectiveness leadership team, with significant exposure to senior management, including members of our Executive Board, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a range of stakeholders and colleagues across our global organisation.

Please note that the scope is across all Maersk brands.

Key responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include the following, amongst others, for the programme:

• Own the objectives and deliverables for the programme, and develop the same based on deep insights and in close coordination with critical stakeholders across Maersk brands.
• Proactively pull and evaluate input from the organisation and stakeholders, ensuring that decisions and solutions take into account the end customer (employees and leaders’ experience) and are relevant and scalable for all organisations in scope.
• Drive anchoring and adoption of the new model and technology across brands, ensuring we deliver the required business outcomes
• In cooperation with IT, ensure that the relevant digital solutions are in place to deliver offerings seamlessly and in a way that maximises employee experience
• Own and run the programme governance and provide oversight across project workstreams
• Manage interdependencies with other projects running in parallel

We require fluency in oral and written English, and proven experience with the following:

• Has minimum 6 years of experience with programme management, with proven experience in developing customer-focused offerings that deliver tangible business results. The individual has driven complex transformation projects or programmes with regional or global scope, ideally within HR.

Experience with Agile and Spring methodologies is an advantage.

• Excels at managing challenging and senior stakeholders, gaining buy-in and building lasting relationships.

• Is adept at facilitation and asks the right questions, challenging constructively and driving end-to-end problem solving.

• Is strategic, proactive and collaborative, with an ability to lift beyond functional needs to the bigger picture and results.

• Is self-motivated with a high drive, takes accountability and executes efficiently and effectively.

• Deals well with change and uncertainty, and can assist others in delivering in such an environment.

• Has incredible resilience, and persists constructively and positively despite barriers and setbacks.

• Has a passion and focus on people leadership, developing and coaching others to grow talent for the organisation.
