You will also be responsible for:   

  • Integrating the electrical sub-system roadmap into our Product Roadmap  
  • The technical aspects of customer-facing activities and representing MHI Vestas at conferences and fairs within your expert area  
  • Setting the overall strategic direction for the Category team where you will work with other technical specialists (the Category teams are led by Sourcing)  
  • The technical content in meetings with suppliers and customers regarding your expert area and related technology topics

This is a versatile and international job with around 10-20 travel days annually which will give you the opportunity to see the result of your – and your colleagues' – efforts on site. More specifically, your tasks will include:

  • Maintenance, improvement and development tasks on our electrical systems and parts including; drawings, diagrams, parts lists, and documentation
  • Shared responsibility for electrical concepts and systems for our products
  • Development of project specific systems
  • Testing of products, parts, and project specific solutions in the test centre
  • Troubleshooting on parts and products

Your profile
You have practical and theoretical knowledge of, and experience with electrical switchboards and installation. Preferably you also have experience with electrical motors and drives. You have an electrical background or similar relating to the job content. Also, you have as a few years of experience with similar tasks. You speak and write English fluently. Speaking Danish would be an advantage, or you would be willing to learn.
