Senior QA Project Engineer

Are you ready to use your quality mindset to develop superior devices? To improve the lives of our users all over the world? Then perhaps you’re our new Senior QA Project Engineer in Device R&D.

 

 

The position

As Quality Assurance Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our development projects with setting direction for quality in terms of internal and external requirements. This is achieved both proactively by supporting the projects in making the right approach to quality, and by reviewing and approving design control documents. Your ability to find the best way of achieving both quality and other project objectives, and set a clear direction is therefore a key responsibility as a Project Quality Assurance Engineer .

 

 

  • You will be responsible for setting the direction, finding the best way to quality, and making quality and project objectives go hand in hand.
  • Supporting devices for stem cell projects, and possibly other projects as well.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior members of the team.
  • Establishing new collaborations across different organisational units.
  • Some travelling will be required.

 

 

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, pharmaceutical , science (e.g. microbiology or biochemistry), or other relevant academic fields.
  • A few years of experience withing Quality Assurance of Class III devices.
  • Ability to constructively engaging your stakeholders and navigate in cross organisational stakeholder landscapes.
  • Ability to mentor junior members of the team.

 

 

About the department

Device R&D Quality is responsible for covering all quality aspects in the Device R&D portfolio of mechanical devices, devices with embedded electronics and software, and Software as a Medical Device, as well as Quality Management System activities, quality oversight of our suppliers, and hosting audits and inspections.

We are an international team of 18 passionate Quality Assurance experts with diverse backgrounds of which 16 are based in Hillerød, Denmark – and 2 in a Device R&D satellite in Seattle, USA.
