Senior Technical EHS Manager


Job Description Summary

The Senior Technical EHS Manager will lead the EHS & Sustainability team within the Control, Verification & EHS department under Manufacturing & Industrial Strategy division at LM Wind Power. The role will focus on, amongst other things, setting up a strong global EHS & Sustainability organization which ensures EHS compliant implementation & roll out of projects, continuous EHS improvement, legal EHS compliance, ensure EHS integrated management system” is fully implemented and maintained.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Setting up a strong global EHS & Sustainability organization within CV&EHS
  • Proactively id and ensure continuous improvement of technical EHS risks within LM
  • Ensures technical EHS compliant implementation & roll out of projects and that Gates are followed
  • Manage team of energy specialist to ensure focus on continues energy improvement
  • Lead, run and be audited in what regards EHS
  • Participating in root cause investigations and ensure implementation of preventive measures
  • Manage the day-to-day activities related to EHS nonconformity/ATS issues, ensure compliance ATSs or closed within 30 days. If
  • Facilitate LM Wind power Engineering ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification and Lead Frame Work where relevant
  • Support Comply work for contractor and supplier connect compliance within engineering
  • Support LM internally what regards Technical EHS
  • Responsible for Opex/Capex, budget calculations and EHS resource calculation, budget approval in PPM Clarity
  • Ensure fulfilment of EHS -related KPIs
  • Required Qualifications

  • Master or bachelor’s degree in EHS sciences, engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience setting up and leaving technical EHS team. Strong knowledge of sustainability standards and ideally with EHS hands-on experience within blade manufacturing, including a proven track record of delivering on complex activities
  • ISO 14001 / ISO 18001 Lead Auditor

    ·Working knowledge of CE-Directive, Ergonomic assessment, Risk Assessment setup, Software validation, Energy management, CSR

    ·Hands-on practical approach to solving EHS challenges

    ·Strong communicator as to ensure EHS in all parts of organization ergo top Management as well as shop floor workers

    ·Able to work globally and take responsibility

    ·English spoken and written

    ·Mobilize local supplier for onsite support and new development whenever needed

    ·Project management expertise is advantages
