We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Test Engineer who wants to develop your test expertise further. Working as Test Engineer at Schneider Electric means being a part of a highly capable, collaborative, and agile team of engineers.

As a Senior Test Engineer, you are a member of the test team, with the aim to develop the most efficient means of testing our UPS Firmware and Core Control platform. At the same time, we secure product quality. Thereby we create breakthroughs in the project development cycle through test excellence.
Your responsibility and development focus

There are two parts of this role: 
1.    Your first main target is to build up your knowledge of UPS behaviour and its environment by acting as Test Engineer supporting Firmware (FW) regulation as well as Hardware (HW).
2.    The second step is further development to become a Senior Test Engineer, building the architecture of test platforms, defining strategy and governance for new platform feature verification and regression, to improve product quality, reliability, and performance.

You will:
•    Become the test expert with regards to UPS regulation area 
•    Work in collaboration with developers to define FW regulation test objectives and test plans
•    Implement FW regulation test plans, including building up the needed test environment; either Down Scaled Hardware Simulator (DSHW) or Full-Size System (FSS)
•    Support FW developers on regulation test failure mode analysis, and assist in debugging
•    Become the expert of UPS system testing domain, granting the customer satisfaction in a lean agile way  
•    Establish and own the overview of platform testing architecture, including both tests on DSHW and FSS

You will work in collaboration with Electronic Test Engineers and the FW testing team, to analysis platform test coverage status quo. You will define platform features testing strategy, with consideration of product quality, reliability, performance, and governance of the test execution (e.g. objective/exit /suspension/pass/fail criteria)  

You will define enablers to improve platform feature verification coverage and release circle time until implementation, and continuously improve test coverage versus requirements

Specific qualifications & requirements
•    BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering
•    5+ years of experience in testing environments
•    Specific knowledge in LabVIEW and Python 
•    Capable of solving complex tasks in creative and effective ways
•    Full English comprehension, written and orally
