Service Delivery Manager for Workplace Backend Services

Are you passionate about technology and how it can help create probably the best digital end user experience in the World? Then perhaps the role as Service Delivery Manager for the backend services in the Digital Workplace Experience team might be the right one for you.  

We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong technical background to lead a small team of Solution Architects and Technical Specialists and manage the outsourced delivery organisation in India.

You will be responsible for delivering all the backend services related to the Digital Workplace Experience in Carlsberg, spanning from Remote Desktop Services, Windows OS, SSCM, and Mobile Device Management.

The Workplace Backend Services team is part of the Digital Workplace Discipline, and our strategic aim is to increase the productivity of Carlsberg’s employees with the right IT tools, processes, and services, and to create probably the best digital end user experience in the World.

The job

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the Digital Workplace backend services are delivered to the highest possible standards with a clear focus on delivering to customers
  • Lead and coach team members
  • Plan and manage the lifecycle of the Backend Services
  • Driving vendor deliverables according to service level agreements
  • Being the focal point for escalations
  • Act as contact point to other operational disciplines and functions
  • Stakeholder management
  • Invoice validation and support of the budgeting process
  • Support transformation programs as work stream lead or subject matter expert

The Profile

We are looking for an experienced leader that can drive his or her team to deliver excellent results and with the following competences:

  • 5-7 years of experience leading IT specialists
  • Managing a Microsoft portfolio in an enterprise environment, i.e. SCCM, RDS, AD, Office 365, Intune, Windows, Windows Server, etc.
  • Virtualisation platforms, such as a Citrix
  • Mobile devices and mobile device management
  • iOS and Android OS
  • Customer focus mind-set
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Good verbal and written English
