We are now looking for an ambitious person to join our Settlements team who can help us with our daily tasks while maintaining high service standards.
About the job
As part of the Settlements team in Maersk Oil Trading, you will be working in a diverse and challenging environment, characterized by a very fast pace which is both performance and results driven. You will interact with colleagues across the globe and across functions and will have a key role in supporting and enabling our daily settlements operations, our ongoing initiatives related to process automation, as well as take part in delivering a variety of strategic and regulatory projects.
Below are some of the key tasks we expect you and your team will drive and be focused on:
Processing miscellaneous invoices related to fuel deliveryBeing responsible for keeping our vessel master data updatedEnsure best industry practices are applied and processes are set-up and documented accordinglyInvestigating discrepancies between invoices and ordersSupport with various tasks during closing periodAssisting in handling our share mailbox and answering inquiries from both internal and external stakeholdersTaking care of other ad-hoc tasks in the settlements teamRequirements
At Maersk, we believe in cooperation and collaboration across functions. This is the way of supporting each other to make sure the daily operations run in an efficient manner with the quality needed for the industry. Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 1-3 years of experience with processing financial transactions, doing AP/AR accounting or any other back-office experience from the energy sector, bank, trading or shipping industry.
