Backend Software developer for Industrial Applications
The position
We are currently looking for a backend software developer for our new static and fatigue measurements application.
The software developer will be part of an international development team and is responsible for creating one of the first applications on our new software platform that is the basis of all future measurement related products from HBK. The platform consists of a set of distributed microservices that are deployed to an environment of desktop PCs, mobile devices, and cloud infrastructure. The measurement data is acquired by a new HBK data acquisition hardware that is connected over local area network.
HBK develops complete measurement systems with inputs from a broad range of sensor and signal types within domains as durability & fatigue, sound & vibration, and e-drive – all of which require high channel counts and/or high-speed data acquisition.
Our customers are typically manufacturers within the automotive, aerospace, white goods or telecom industries and our measurement systems are often used within the customer’s R&D or test departments for evaluation of designs with respect to performance and quality.
Primary responsibilities
You will be working on the application microservice
Design and Implementation of the application model in a multi-threaded environmentExposing the application model through an GraphQL APITesting both the standalone application microservice as well as the complete applicationProfessional qualifications
You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree -or equivalent - in software engineeringMinimum 5 years of experience in software developmentStrong software design and architectural skill setHands-on experience with the .NET technology stack and C#Experience with distributed systems and service-oriented architecturesUsage of Azure DevOps, Git, JiraKnowledge of GraphQL, REST, JSON, ASP .NET CoreAn understanding of Web technology, measurement systems and the Linux operating system will be welcomed extras.Personal skills
