Sr. Manager, Sales & Operations

This is a rare opportunity to influence a global value chain end-to-end.

In this role, you are critical to the success of our global S&OP process and thereby the LEGO Group.

Deploy and optimise our S&OP process

You will collaborate with senior leaders and have the opportunity to influence the entire business. Moreover, the S&OP process is in a transformation phase and this an opportunity to influence and execute on the S&OP Process “To-Be” for coming years.

You join a team of 3 specialists and take a business leadership role alongside one other senior manager. The team leads our global S&OP process, which is considered key to the competitive advantage of the LEGO Group. To keep a check on the process and continuously optimise the performance of our entire value chain, you collaborate with, support and influence our entire business, making your role both operational and strategic. More specifically, you:

- Orchestrate choices across the connected functions in the value chain to strike the optimal balance of product availability, financial performance and complexity

- Lead the most critical S&OP review meetings that feed Pre-S&OP (Demand Review)

- Lead improvement initiatives for the S&OP process, including complex, strategic and ambiguous continuous improvement opportunities

- Become a key driver in the transformation of the S&OP working closely with the Market Groups.

- Facilitate interaction with managers and vice presidents as well as Market Group heads in the regions.

Problem-solver with great collaboration skills

As this is a global role, you will collaborate with LEGO colleagues across all main regions: Americas, Asia, Europe, China and LEGO Retail. That is why you will need awesome relationship management skills as well as outstanding collaboration skills, including the ability to traverse cultures, time-zones and functions. At the same time, you have the intellectual capacity to learn all about complex interdependencies and simplify whenever there is a possibility to do so.

Your qualifications:

- Demonstrated excellence in managing and facilitating cross-functional meetings

- Experience of working with diverse stakeholders to solve complex problems or exploit challenging opportunities

- Some operational experience with S&OP, Demand Planning & Forecasting, Business Planning Processes or Supply Chain Planning and Execution is an advantage

- The ability to travel intercontinentally up to 20 days per year

- You communicate effortlessly in English
