Maersk is looking for Product Owners who are smart, passionate, enjoy working in a multi-cultural, cross-functional environment and build solutions that will transform a traditional but highly critical supply chain industry and build new, innovative solutions never built before! This is an opportunity to define, build, and deliver initiatives that have direct and huge on the Maersk business. This is a great position for someone who can deliver customer-centric solutions with leadership and influence on technology, product and business teams. You will be expected to make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.

In this highly visible role, with ownership, accountability, great communication and relationship skills, being a team player, an innovator, and always being data-driven, you will help shape the strategy that will positively millions of containers and shipments around the world. • Responsible for the product roadmap that is aligned with business objectives, and translate it into goals for the individual teams.
• Own Communications with the wider team around milestone and release plans along with owning the product backlog
• Research and specify new features and enhancements to existing features. Document the requirements via well defined specifications and review with the team and stakeholders
• Bring together engineers, designers, and departments from around the company to build and release product features & capabilities as per plan
• You will orchestrate and be ultimately responsible for projects and products within your own track, and be able to define and track core KPI(s).
• Champion customer and stakeholder needs throughout project execution, ensuring that what is delivered meets the original goals and objectives
• Act quickly on trends and opportunities by staying up to date on an extremely dynamic and competitive industry
• Collaborate with UX designers for the discovery and design phases of a feature
• Create, monitor, and evaluate the impact of experiments using a combination of analytical tools & research methods
• And when a product ships, popping the cork from the champagne bottle to celebrate!

We are looking for

These requirements would make you a great fit for the role
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
• 5+ years of technical program management experience, with capability to understand the business, think innovatively, defend features and prioritization, write user stories and drive roadmaps and timelines
• Ability to write basic SQL queries
• Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and trade-offs of a product
• Proven track record of customer obsession.
• Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically
• Experience with end-to-end product delivery, working with all stakeholders, and measuring results Vs. intended KPIs
• Ability to prioritize in an ambiguous environment
• Demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven decisions that lead to results
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects
• Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development
• Proven communication and relationship skills

Sound technical and product/business judgment
MBA/Software Engineering Educational Qualification
Evaluates existing complex and interdependent processes and operating
systems within the context of business requirements.
Proposes changes or enhancements to help achieve the business goals.
Evaluates change proposals coming from different quarters and calculates
impact and feasibility, and recommends ways forward.
