And would you love to be challenged and take on a senior technical role? If so, then we have the job for you. You will set the technical direction for a growing product As a Developer, you will work closely with your agile full-stack scrum team to break down, specify, provide estimates for, and develop the Columna Cura product. The product is one of the most advanced EHR systems on the market and is being developed as a web (Java) and app solution (Android and iOS). The product has been around for more than two years and is currently in use in more than 30 Danish municipalities. Columna Cura means Denmark s healthcare workers can spend more time on care and prevention and less time on documentation. By having relevant information within reach, we ensure that users can benefit from a more efficient decision-making process. Columna Cura is constantly being expanded and developed. We are dealing with a critical system with many users, a lot of data, and high loads. This places considerable demands on reliability, performance and scalability. Right now, we are in the process of expanding functionality in the social care sector. Much of this work centres on building functionality on existing foundations, which not only poses a number of exciting challenges but will also require you to understand relationships within a large and complex system. If you can do this, you will have the chance to help make a difference to society. Here is a taste of what you will be doing: Clarifying general features and requirements in close co-operation with customers and internal stakeholders, such as user experience designers, product owners and business consultants Specifying technical solutions in dialogue with customers, users, and internal stakeholders based on requirements, user cases, user stories, and the frameworks and architecture that are in place Defining and estimating the scope of development tasks in cooperation with the development team Developing solutions and supporting the testing of the specified solution elements Optimising and maintaining existing code World-class colleagues You will join an inspirational software house with world-class colleagues. At Columna Cura, we are divided into ten development scrum teams, seven of which are organised as specialised full-stack teams, two are specialised integration teams, and one is a specialised backend team. The team will typically consist of 6 7 Developers, a Tester, a Scrum Master and a Product Owner. Our full-stack teams work on developing the direct user side of the solution, whereas the integration and backend teams work more on the technical side. In the full-stack teams, the focus is very much on understanding the healthcare area, which often involves much closer contact with the users. Although there is close cooperation between all teams, there are, nevertheless, differences in which skills are needed depending on which team you are in. You are very welcome to indicate in your application what you find most exciting to work on, so we can take this into account. Professional community with a focus on your development At Systematic, we are known for not only challenging and developing one another, but also ourselves. We constantly discuss our processes and explore even smarter ways to develop software. Co-operation in the team is based on a professional but also social community characterised by mutual trust. Together, we have built a culture in which absolutely everyone can make decisions that make sense in our day-to-day working lives. You will therefore have influence from day one. You will also influence the direction of your professional potential. Whether you are interested in a specialist role or management, we will put together the career path that suits you. If you already have some thoughts about your future, you are also very welcome to share this in your application, as we would be happy to discuss this in more detail. Inspiring those around you Ideally, you will be someone who has a background in computer science, engineering or similar and has at least five years experience as a Developer. It is essential that you have sufficient experience as a Developer in order to give you perspective and enable you to set the technical direction for the team. It is an advantage if you have experience of one or more of the platforms and technologies that the solution uses, e.g.: Web (JavaScript, TypeScript, and AngularJS), Android (Native), and iOS (Swift). In terms of personal qualities, you are highly driven and are adept at inspiring and motivating your talented team and department colleagues. Although you take responsibility, are proactive and are not afraid to make decisions, you also know when it is necessary to include customers, product owners and testers, for example. You are able to set the direction when the solution needs to be defined and described in detail. In your work, you are structured, analytical and have a keen eye for detail. You are driven by the quality of your work and take pride in understanding and solving complex challenges. Based on your experience and competence, we expect you as a senior employee, besides being a skilled Developer, to be able to: quickly establish an overview of any new complexity, task or challenge dare to challenge how we work and put forward ideas for improving processes or the technical setup. You are adept at inspiring and motivating your talented team and department colleagues Last but not least, you are fluent in both spoken and written English. In addition, it would be a plus if you: Have experience in a leadership role Have experience in healthcare-related IT Are able to perform architect-related tasks, for example when the solution is expanded with new modules.
