Strategic Large Accounts Manager, Odense, Denmark or Boston, US

Our new Strategic Large Accounts Manager is expected to grow revenue and market share in close collaboration with regional and global channel strategies. Working with Large Accounts (typically end users) is relatively new to Universal Robots A/S and will raise new opportunities and challenges. Making this work alongside the current channel strategy is the overall success criteria for the position. Based in either Odense/Denmark or Boston/US the position reports to VP Commercial Operations and there are no direct reports.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

The Strategic Large Account Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of Global Large Accounts channel strategy as well as

  • Define and implement programs and processes cross-functionally to support the Large Accounts channel and ensure their success as they grow
  • Drive the tactical planning, marketing communication campaigns, project timelines, and content creation to support the channel and marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with regional GM’s and Sales Managers to target and recruit new Large Accounts
  • Analyze and develop current partners/Large Accounts
  • Define metrics to analyze, monitor and evaluate channel growth and strategic progress


Professional Qualifications

The job demands that the ideal candidate has documented practical experience within the Key Account/Large Account area. If the candidate comes from a company in industrial automation, it would be an advantage.

Further to a commercial degree (B.Sc., M.Sc., MBA or equivalent) you have:

  • Experience and a proven track record from working with definition and implementation of programs and processes to support large accounts channels
  • Key Account Management experience – minimum of 5 years in an international B-t-B large account channel development context
  • The ability to think conceptually and draw from many years of Key Account Management work and implement them in a fast-growing organization
  • Experience with sales of complex technical solutions
  • Solid stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to think and act both strategically and hands on
  • Experience from a cross-functional role
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Experience with navigating in an international matrix organization
  • To be considered for the job it is vital that to be fluent in English, both written and spoken
