Strategy Consultant

Do you wish to work on strategic projects and tasks that play a vital role in shaping the future for the global leader within offshore wind?  

Join us and become a Strategy Consultant in Wind Power’s Strategy department, an in-house consultancy responsible for the business unit strategy, market outlook and strategic projects. You’ll work closely with Wind Power’s executive management to set the future direction and identify challenges and business opportunities.   You’ll join a high-performing and dynamic team, working with strategic projects in a fast-paced environment. In your daily work, you’ll typically assist a senior member of the team on one or several projects and perform ad-hoc tasks requested by management. The position will entail a steep learning curve where you’ll develop your strategic mindset, consultant toolbox and project management skills. As part of your development, you’ll also be provided with training, feedback and coaching to further develop your career and move up the ladder within the Strategy department.  

Your key tasks will be to 

  • participate in strategic projects where you’ll gather and analyse data, conduct problem solving and interviews, as well as build top-down storylines 
  • develop strategic recommendations on the basis of deep analytics and a clear thought process 
  • be responsible for ad hoc requests from management as well as presentations, analyses and deep dives in specific topics 
  • be part of the annual strategy process to reaffirm or change the direction for Wind Power 
  • follow, analyse and conclude on market trends across offshore wind and the energy sector in general. 

 Your qualifications and core competences include that you 

  • have finished or are finishing a master’s degree in business administration, economics or a similar degree from a technical university and are in the top 10 per cent of your class  
  • have an excellent analytical mindset with strong quantitative and problem-solving skills 
  • are used to communicating complex topics in a clear and concise manner both orally and in writing 
  • thrive and can deliver in an environment with multiple activities with parallel and short deadlines 
  • are ambitious and result-oriented with a high level of drive, initiative and persistency. 

Experience with strategy, management consulting or business development from a previous position or similar during your studies is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
