Strategy game startup seeking 2D/Concept Artist

We at Foxhound Studios are looking for a remote full-time (37h pr. week) 2D/Concept Artist to join our WW2 strategy game project. The job start date is not yet set, but will likely be in November/December.

 

You will be:

  • Collaborating on and finalizing our art styles.
  • Creating various types of highly detailed icons, portraits, interface art, woodland terrain and textures for the game.
  • Creating or choosing fonts for the game.
  • Keeping our best-practices documentation updated.

 

You have:

 

Nice if you have:

  • A love for strategy games.
  • Knowledge of UV unwrapping.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodology.
  • An understanding of UI layouts and principles.
  • Several years of experience in the gaming/audiovisual/graphic design industry.

 

About us:

Foxhound Studios is a game development startup located in Aalborg, Denmark. All of us are industry outsiders and are working on our first game. We don’t have an office yet, and therefore can’t offer you any fancy amenities that goes along with it. What we can offer is a workplace where:
