Who are we?

Today, Digital Labs works with an overarching vision “We unleash DSB’s innovative potential by creating digital products and services leading us towards a sustainable future.”

In the lab, we work in three main areas

  • Exploration, we build concepts through innovation sprints, based on our most critical findings, and test them iteratively as MVPs (Minimum Viable Product). Our process is influenced by Futures and Design Thinking and the concepts that make it through our lifecycle become innovation products in the Execution teams. We test today what we can offer for our customers in the future.
  • Execution shapes concepts into real life testable products and services that we can onboard actual customers on. We build it small but think in whole new areas around movement. We are working on two speedboats.
  • Mobility Lab is scaled out of one of our Execution teams – Kørmit. We work especially on mobility innovation and on scaling our platform www.kørmit.dk
Within our units, we have Strategic Designers, UX Designers, Digital Designers, Business Analysts, Communication Specialists, Product managers, and a team of developers that all work in a flat organizational structure. All in all, we are today 20+ people in the Lab from Norway, Sweden, Turkey, Spain, Italy, USA, Hungary, China, and Denmark.

The Digital Labs is a separate entity placed in DSB IT but acting across all areas of the business. We have a broad mandate, and we aim to partner up with the best to honor the faith that has been put upon us. Our physical location is in Copenhagen at Otto Busses Vej, close to DSB’s own history and Jernbanebyen.

Salary and conditions of employment

You are employed in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, where there is the possibility of supplements that correspond to your qualifications and our requirements.
