Student assistant at the Dept. for Management, Society and Communication and PRME office

At the CBS Department for Management Society and Communication and PRME office, we are looking for two student assistants to join our team. The two student assistants will be working on ongoing projects at the CBS Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) office and the CSR department.

(1) One student assistant will be working on a project reviewing the responsible management content in CBS’ bachelor and master programmes and courses. Your main tasks will consist of reaching out to and communicating with stakeholders; creating and managing contact/information databases; and (re)writing reports.

(2) One student assistant will be working in the area of social entrepreneurship and impact investing. Your main tasks will consist of reaching out to and communicating with stakeholders; managing and developing an online course in social entrepreneurship; and organizing the 2019 edition of a conference on impact investing.

As a student assistant at the MSC department, you will be part of a vibrant and exciting young team of dedicated and skilled colleagues, and you will have the opportunity to develop different types of skills.

Key requirements

Relevant candidates should:

  • be enrolled as a student at a higher education institution
  • be prepared to commit to the projects for a minimum of one year
  • be very reliable
  • have very good communication skills in English, both written and oral
  • be able to communicate with people on all levels of and outside the organization, such as professors, administrative staff and external partners and conference speakers
  • have attention to detail
  • be able to work independently
  • (1) have experience with working in Excel and InDesign (not required)
  • (1) have an interest in and understanding of management education/course content
  • (2) have experience with event planning and/or conference management (not required)
  • (2) have an interest in social entrepreneurship and/or impact investing
  • Salary and Employment Conditions

    You will be employed at Copenhagen Business School according to the joint agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Public Employees' Unions (HK-organisationsaftalen og Fællesoverenskomsten mellem Finansministeriet og Offentligt Ansatte Organisationer (OAO-S Fællesoverenskomsten).

    The hourly rate is between 110 DKK and 120 DKK and depends on previous public employment and education. This will include pension if you have 9 months' prior employment in the public sector. Pension contributions are 10.28% of pensionable pay elements.

    Working hours: On average 11 hours a week

    Expected start: As soon as possible (no later than May 2018)
