Student Assistant for HR Operations

Are you looking for an interesting and challenging student job of approximate 12-15 hours a week? Ramboll’s HR Operations team is busy and in need of a flexible Student Assistant to support and execute upon many areas of the HR-wheel and projects, giving you the insight into the world of HR in a global company.

You will gain a unique insight into a department on a journey on globalisation, where your work will contribute to the successful development of both the department and Ramboll as a whole.

Your responsibilities as Student Assistant
As a Student Assistant in a team so diverse in expertise and responsibilities, you will be presented with a wide variety of tasks within HR Operations in Denmark.

The typical work week for you as a Student Assistant will therefore aim towards HR tasks which needs to be solved alongside your colleagues, while contributing to time limited projects often within organizational change and analytics.

The tasks and projects will therefore have character of contact with several stakeholders from the business, occasional contact with our Shared Service Centre in India as well as data tasks for analytical decision making.

Besides daily tasks within these areas you will additionally be working on various projects aimed at constantly improving the services from HR to the Ramboll business. This means you will have a great opportunity to challenge yourself and bring the knowledge from your studies into practical use.

You and your competencies
It is essential that you can keep a calm overview when carrying out several different tasks during a day. You enjoy close collaboration with many different colleagues, and you feel comfortable in the interaction with people regardless of hierarchy.

Since the team is supporting the entire organisation, being service-minded is a skill that comes naturally to you. Further, it is important that you have a structured approach to your work, enabling you to keep a cool overview in sometimes busy situations.

On a more practical note, we imagine the ideal candidate to be:

  • Studying at university/business school (either late Bachelor or start of your Master)
  • Have an interest in HR activities and organisational change & development and data analysis
  • Experience in using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Fluent in communicating in Danish and in English - orally and writing

You will be part of the HR Operation team in Denmark consisting of 22 dedicated HR professionals. HR Operations is part of the HR department in Ramboll and is continually on an exciting journey of growth, globalisation and change. As part of this we are reviewing the global HR service delivery model to ensure we are ready to meet the current and future demands from the business. This will see the HR function transform from a local into a global model that fosters excellence and global mind-sets.
