Student Assistant, Global HR City: Copenhagen V Country/Region: DK Application Deadline: 30 June 2022 Are you passionate about people and project management? Your areas of responsibilities:
As a Student Assistant in the Global HR Team you will have an active role in running projects and will be exposed to a variety of tasks. You will get the opportunity to build a career within HR in a global environment characterized by inclusion, diversity, and initiative. You will support the Global HR Team with preparation, coordination, and planning of HR and data analytics related activities. You will also be expected to work independently and take responsibility for your own tasks. You will be reporting into an HR Director in Global Office but will be part of the broader HR business partnering team. You will be part of an exciting business area and work in an international hub of can-do spirited, passionate and performance-driven people that work closely together, help each other out and like to have fun.

Additional tasks will vary but will be related to:

  • Supporting HRBP on targeted business areas.
  • Project management of key strategic initiatives. For example, our current Student Assistant in the team has planned and initiated mentoring programs, supported organizational changes and organized volunteering activities.
  • Managing data and developing internal tools and processes.
  • Communication between HR and leader community by running the global office newsletter for all people leaders.
  • Facilitating and organizing team activities.
  • Preparing proposals and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Coordinating meetings and agendas.
  • Additional ad hoc HR related tasks.

The current Student Assistant in the position is now graduating and we are looking for a replacement in the team. As a reflection of her experience at Pandora, she says: “In my Student Assistant role I was empowered to take lead and ownership of projects that I found a special interest in, for example initiating and driving a monthly people leader newsletter as well as supporting in building a new mentoring pilot for one of our business functions. I also got the opportunity to experience HR from many different angles in a large global organization, which definitely helped me decide on my further career steps. I am very grateful for the learning- and growth journey I have had during both my internship as well as Student Assistant position at Pandora.”

What is needed for you to succeed in this role:
The HR Global Team is looking for a Student Assistant that is a great communicator with high sense of responsibility and structure-oriented. Stakeholder management skills are a key to success and you should also have a pro-active personality and good time management skills to effectively support the team with daily tasks. In this role you will be responsible of your own tasks while you self-motivate yourself to deliver.

Additionally, we hope to see that:

  • You are currently studying a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Business Administration, HRM, Economics, People & Organization, Business Development, Communications or similar – ideally with 2 years before you graduate.
  • You are genuinely interested in people and developing organizations and know how to manage stakeholders across all levels in a global organization like Pandora.
  • You bring strong business acumen and commercial understanding and interest.
  • You have strong English proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • You are a competent user of Microsoft Office and have advanced Power Point and Excel skills.

Your personal qualifications make a difference:

Additional information:
You will be working approximately 15 to 20 hours per week and the work time can be planned around your studies.
