Student worker, Group Finance
Do you want to make a real impact in a large international company where business is never as usual? Are you currently pursuing a higher education within finance, auditing, management accounting or similar? Then you are maybe our new student worker in Group Finance located at our headquarters in Randers, Denmark.
The team currently consists of 8 employees and our aim is to become a key contributor to the Danish Crown Finance community, to other stakeholders, and to work closely together to deliver efficient financial analyses for decision-making in the Danish Crown Executive Management group among others. In Group Finance, our responsibilities range from reviewing reported figures to compliance assignments. We furthermore support the business and other group functions in the monthly as well as yearly reporting.
Work tasks and responsibilities
As our new student worker, you will become experienced within a variety of tasks; such as being responsible for periodic reports and analysis tasks. You will also support your colleagues in the Group Finance team by solving ad-hoc tasks related to the internal- and external reporting and controlling across the Danish Crown Group. In addition, you will be asked to assist in the ownership- and maintenance of our consolidation tool (SAP BPC) and assist the Group Finance team with reports, analyses, and data processing.
We offer a job with great variation where you will work in teams and independently - both cross-border, cross-functional and among different business segments in the different tasks. This will provide you with both insights- and experience of being an employee in a large international business. For the right candidate, you will achieve a high degree of responsibility and plenty of opportunities. We expect that you are able to work around 12-15 hours per week and preferably two full days per week. We offer flexibility during examination periods. Your primary work location will be at our headquarters in Randers.
Curios team player with strong analytical skills
You are currently pursuing a higher education within a relevant academic field (e.g., economics, finance, auditing, management accounting, finance and international business or other relevant studies). Preferably, you are currently finishing your bachelor’s degree or in the beginning of your master’s degree. We expect you to be familiar with Microsoft Office and an experienced user in Excel. If you are experienced within SAP BPC and/or Power BI/Power Query, it could be an advantage, but this is not a must. You communicate fluently in English - both orally and in writing.
You have strong analytical skills, you work systematically and you take pride in delivering positive- and satisfactory results. You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and the opportunity of gaining new knowledge and becoming more proficient motivates you. Besides being independent, you are helpful and characterized as a team player who know that the key to delivering strong results is through a united team effort. You have an open and curious personality, and you are willing to proactively reach out to the business and to your colleagues.
