Job Responsibilities

The core of this role will be to manage cross functional global projects across supply chain and together with the team to develop and execute the supply chain management strategy to support our business growth objectives in terms of sales, profit and networking capital.

Your tasks will be to, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure innovative thinking by establishing the right inspiration and cooperation method. Secure the new knowledge's (books, articles, university, conferences, education, training, etc.) and share it with colleagues.
  • Work with procurement to ensure best in class supply chain concepts are in place and developed with suppliers. Initiate improvement plans for end to end supply chains (from customers through internal organization to suppliers).
  • Best practice sharing across organization and cross divisions.
  • Work on risk management strategy and risk mitigation plans with supply chain and procurement.
  • Responsible for documentation of concepts, processes and training materials.
  • Enable the development of IT tools and processes.
  • Support product life management from supply chain perspective in order to maximize the customer satisfaction as well as to optimize logistics cost and net working capital.
  • Drive the appropriate and necessary change management along the full supply chain.
  • Perform internal and external benchmarking and identify improvement initiatives.
  • This position offers you the possibility to develop yourself both personally and professionally, and should you have the talent and interest, you will be given the opportunity to lead your own process improvement projects.

    Background & Skills

    You hold a relevant educational background and at least 5 years of experience within supply chain. Your track record shows good project and stakeholder management skills, which will be useful leading and coordinating tasks related to problem solving, implementation, clarification and training.

    Furthermore, the ideal candidate is experienced working in SAP and knowledge about MRP systems and LEAN management tools.

    As a person you know how to work independently, structured and you pay attention to details. You have the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization. Experience from building relations and cooperating across cultures and geography will be an advantage.

    Excellent English oral and written communication skills is also needed in the role.
