Supply Chain Manager

Airtame is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a background in electronics manufacturing sourcing and supply chain management. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be overseeing and managing Airtame's overall supply chain and logistics strategy to maximize the process efficiency, productivity, and costs.  You need to be hands-on and take part in the daily administrative tasks along with moving Airtame’s SCM forward and develop the team.

Your tasks

  • Manage a team of 2 logistics operations specialists.
  • Be the primary contact point between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Be responsible for both strategic and tactical supply chain management, such as supply demand planning, forecasting, capacity planning buffer, and safety stock planning.
  • Make strategic sourcing for new products in close collaboration with our hardware development team
  • Develop short and long term supply and demand models that seek to minimize total supply chain costs.
  • Review and improve processes to drive efficiency with third party and transportation providers.
  • Hands-on and take part in the daily operational tasks
  • Manage and monitor metrics for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Take project lead of upcoming ERP implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience from within supply chain management, strategic sourcing of electronics components, outsourced manufacturing.
  • Ready to take up your first people management position.
  • Experience working with international logistic and manufacture partners.
  • Excellent project management and business negotiation skills.
  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
  • Build excellent relationships with Airtame’s strategic partners.

Bonus points

  • Experience in strategic planning, financial control, team management and development.
  • Experiences from implementing an ERP system.
  • Good understanding of the hardware space and its related supply chain environment.
  • Experience in B2C/B2B, transportation, fulfillment, and distribution operations.
