At (COMPANY NAME), we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste.
Why do we need to do that? Because more than 1/3 of the food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss!
As the world's largest food waste-fighting app, we connect stores that have unsold, surplus food with consumers who buy and enjoy it. But we're more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation and our mission is to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste, so we're doing all we can to create educational tools, make our knowledge as accessible as possible, find new business solutions and even change legislation to reduce food waste.
We're growing fast, with our community of 53 million users in 17 countries saving more than 124 million meals from going to waste - that's more than 232,500 tonnes of CO2e saved! But there's still a lot more we want to achieve.
Our Values:
We fight together: food waste is a big beast to fight. We can do it if we fight together as Waste Warriors with no ego. We believe in a #oneteam.
We raise the bar: we always push for more. We work smart, smash barriers and elevate one another.
We keep it simple: our ambitions are bold but our solutions are simple.
We build a legacy: we're proud of the change we're driving.
We care: we always look out for each other. Caring is also about the way we do business. We do the right thing.
Your Role:
Reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, you'll work together closely to enhance (COMPANY NAME)'s employer profile, hire qualified candidates efficiently, and deliver a positive, fair and inclusive candidate experience. You will partner with hiring managers to understand the requirements of our roles, and create job ads, application questions, and interview processes that attract quality talent and effectively assess candidates' skills & knowledge. A large part of your role will focus on interviewing candidates on their capabilities, suitability to the role, alignment with our company values, and passion for our mission.
* Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, in collaboration with the Global Talent Acquisition team and local hiring teams to include our DE*I strategy
* Talent pipeline, this includes head hunting and candidate generation leads and collation of external market talent data.
* Support on Global Talent Acquisition projects for yearly strategy planning
* Design application and interview processes for each role that appropriately assess the candidates' qualifications, achieve success quickly, and create a fantastic candidate experience.
* Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards, social media platforms and partner organisations.
* Identify qualified candidates through direct sourcing, industry/social networking, employee referrals, career fairs and more.
* Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitude.
* Interview candidates to assess their role fit and engagement with (COMPANY NAME)'s mission and values
* Manage a high volume of open positions across different functions, while maintaining momentum with both internal teams and external candidates
* Continuous improvement on best practice to ensure our recruiting processes are efficient and robust.
* Provide analytical updates to the rest of the team and manage hiring managers' expectations.
* Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the recruitment process.
Requirements:
* You are passionate about our mission and are motivated to grow our impact.
* Solid full-cycle recruiting experience, with a good level of in-house exposure or agency
* Experience in running a structured interview process in a high-volume recruiting environment is essential.
* Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, video screening, reference check etc).
* Experience of using multiple sourcing and attraction methods to fill vacancies.
* Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
* Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal, with a full professional proficiency in English.
* Ability to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
* You care deeply about inclusiveness and diversity.
* You put a lot of care into the candidate experience and promote (COMPANY NAME) as a fantastic place to work in everything you do.
* Autonomous work style: you can take ownership and know how to prioritise.

A Movement for Everyone
We want to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. With that mission, it's only natural that we want to build a diverse and inclusive team of highly capable individuals who are passionate about doing things in a better way. We strongly believe we all excel and are more creative when we're allowed to be ourselves, and we're committed to a culture where all of us belong.
We are an equal opportunity employer and all employment is decided on the basis of qualifications, merit and business need. If you need reasonable accommodation at any point in the application or interview process, please let us know
