The scope of the task is to create a strong foundation to secure that we achieve the right cost level for future equipment concepts. How to contribute to our vision The Offshore Tools and Equipment organization has the responsibility to manage and deliver equipment to support installation projects globally. The team owns the full operational value chain; hence we are present in all main equipment decisions from scoping, design to execution of installation projects. A special effort is put on safety and securing high uptime of the equipment throughout its lifetime through an integrated feedback loop, linking the use of equipment to preventive maintenance and continuous improvement programs. As a strong contributor to the equipment roadmaps, setting the right cost level per equipment to achieve future investments targets e.g. by conducting cost benchmarks Identifying key cost drivers and monitoring the progress for current and future equipment Create and maintain the cost out strategy. Arrange / participate in cost-out workshops with equipment and installation teams Working closely with our Procurement organization for aligning input from suppliers and market trends Support and drive business specific business cases for equipment design and use together with relevant stakeholders Work closely with the operational construction teams on equipment implementation to secure the best ideas are captured What you need to make a difference Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. You have an understanding for both commercial and technical aspects and your analytical mindset comes with the agility to find solutions between different parties and interests. Ideally you have more than 2 years of experience in the area of cost management and / or similar process from Procurement / Engineering. Preferably from the wind industry or similar larger scale industry manufacturer. You will need to feel comfortable to develop a large network in a multicultural and dynamic environment, where you must be able to establish trust while driving the organization in terms of cost consciousness and approaching topics with a critical mindset. You have a strong technical mindset and enjoy working analytical with your tasks. As a person, you are an outgoing communicative individual who values collaboration and take charge in hectic situations and possess the ability to maintain an overview while helping the team as coordinator. You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
