Sales > Offshore Operations > Operations Concept Support

We focus on construction optimisation by co-development of concepts. We build new concepts to advance safety, reduce cost and time and create value for the operational teams on future execution projects and future platform developments. Concepts will be founded on the organisations lesson learned and applicable industry best practice across the construction areas. We continuously focus on co-development of current and future WTG platforms and we ensure that lessons learned and ideas from stakeholders are taken into account when developing current and future WTG platforms. By doing so, risk of implementing design changes that are not feasible is minimised.
We support the implementation of concepts and new WTG designs and making information available for stakeholders and ensuring they are informed and introduced to new concepts and WTG designs. After implementation, follow up with stakeholders to validate whether the expected outcome is seen.
Learn, develop and adapt based on best practices from both wind and other industries.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying optimisation areas within installation and commissioning in corporations with the respective line organisations 
  • Documenting and describing improvement proposals based on efficiency and cost improvements across the Vestas platforms and align with key stakeholders for possible implementation
  • Driving improvement initiatives from idea, through development and support implementation in cooperation with the respective line organisations 
  • Participating as construction stakeholder in technology projects and drive construction deliverables 
  • Ensuring that technology tasks fulfil all requirements as well as following up on deliverables
  • Providing input to and reviewing construction Documentation
  • Ensuring that construction aspects are considered in relation to design changes and collecting input to design changes from construction
  • Identifying and reporting significant cost implications from current design and design changes
  • Supporting Construction Sales with technical info related to Vestas platform
  • Qualifications

  • Maintain a high focus on HSE 
  • Possess project management skills (such as Prince 2/IPMA)
  • Have risk management competences
  • Are proactive and independent but also enjoy being part of an agile and motivated team
  • Are able to transfer your knowledge to others via excellent stakeholder management
  • Competencies

  • HSE knowledge
  • Extensive experience in Construction or Service operations
  • Technical background (Engineering etc) 
  • Risk Management competences
  • Contractual understanding

  • Quality awareness
  • Project management certification ( Prince 2/IPMA)
  • User of Microsoft Office
  • User of Microsoft SharePoint
  • Fluent in English
