Test & Service Coordinator, IT Operations - Aarhus or Gdansk

Do you understand and have experience with developing and implementing test strategies? Can you see broader lines but also get into details? Are you able to develop – and follow – processes?

The important link between IT, the business and the vendors
You will be part of the Members, Sales & Marketing team in IT Operations, covering the areas: Sales, CRM, PLM, Member Relations, ServiceNow, K2, Sharepoint and SalesForce among others. Our international team is placed in Denmark Sweden and the UK and this position is to be taken up in either Viby, DK or Gdansk, PL).

Your main focus will be to be a part of a group of people who works on our test set-up and who secure that our application areas have qualified test cases, where one of your tasks is to guide the testers in our Line of Business, how they shall structure their test cases.

A secondary focus will be acting as a Service Coordinator. We are responsible for IT maintenance and support via our vendors and a vital part of our job is to cooperate with and follow up on our vendors according to the defined SLAs. As Service Coordinator you will also have a close relationship to the business as you will be their partner and “go to” person in many occasions.  

Your main tasks are to

  • Together with colleagues develop a new framework for our test governance
  • Guide testers in how to create test cases
  • Conduct quality review of test cases and perform test cases yourself
  • Ensure that information in tickets (Change Proposal’s or Change Requests) is correct.
  • Plan implementation of enhancements in coordination with the business and vendors
  • Ensure maximum use of existing template solutions
  • Validate with Authorized Requester that a business need has been fulfilled after the implementation of the change.

Process expertise, test experience and great collaboration skills

As you will work closely together with both the business and other teams you need good cooperation and communication skills in English. Excellent planning skills are also crucial for this position. You need to be good at building up a network – and using it! You should be willing to learn quickly and become a skilled user of Service Now and test tools. If you have experience with the test tool Tosca or similar, it will be an advantage.

You hold either a Masters degree or other relevant education in either an IT or Business area. This is supported with 2-3 years experience from an IT position or sitting as a super user or tester within the business side, who is now motivated to move into the IT function.
