Tooling EAM Engineer - Nakskov

The you have strong technical skills and know-how as well as experience with tools and equipment maintenance? Would you like to join an international manufacturing environment?  MHI Vestas Offshore Wind is currently looking for a new Tooling EAM Engineer to join our blades factory in Nakskov, Denmark.   

Tasks & responsibilities: You will… 

…be responsible for physical tool and system match and monitor the lifetime of equipment in cooperation with the production engineering team. You will create, monitor and analyse on maintenance job orders to improve Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). As Tolling EAM Engineer, you will be part of the Tooling Team supporting the Production Engineering Department at different manufacturing locations.   You will also be responsible for:  

  • Delivery of stable and repeatable maintenance processes with supporting documentation (maintenance manual, spare part lists, included item numbers, risk assessments, work instructions, etc.) 
  • Improve and optimise the maintenance process based on data from EAM system, cost reduction, and safety improvement targets 
  • Work with suppliers on identification of critical issues, prioritising improvement projects, based on S,Q,D,C  
  • Be aware of Non-Conforming processes or products and implement corrective actions 
  • Secure that the EAM system is always up to date 
  • Provide input to the Tooling Team to develop and update TRS and TPS documentation

…has relevant experience with the requirements/specifications of tools and equipment in a manufacturing environment or holds an engineering degree, preferably mechanical engineering. You can prepare appropriate technical documentation and have good understanding of (local) legislation and standards with respect to tooling and equipment (preferred, not required). As a person, you are a team player who understands how to work in a line and matrix organisation.   We expect that you:  

  • Are flexible and can keep the overview even during hectic periods 
  • Can use Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel 
  • Have good English skills 
  • Understand safety and quality processes and reporting 
  • Are detail-oriented and structured
