UAV and data consultant for COWIs surveying team

JOIN OUR UTILITY, LEGAL AND SURVEYING DEPARTMENT IN LYNGBY
In Utility, Legal and Surveying, you will become part of 's infrastructure unit. Utility, Legal and Surveying numbers about 40 skilled experts in different areas. We are a team of legal consultants, engineers and chartered surveyors, taking a multidisciplinary approach to consultancy on some of Denmark's largest construction and infrastructure projects.
In our surveying team, we solve technical tasks on most of COWI's major infrastructure projects and also cultivate niche markets, particularly within laser scanning, drones and digitization. We have, among other projects, been solving technical tasks at Terminal 3 at Copenhagen Airport, collecting and processing data for Facebook Data centres and carried out an AI-model inspection of the Oresund bridge that links Copenhagen with Malmö.

A POSITION THAT WILL PUSH YOUR DEVELOPMENT FURTHER
In this position, you will join our global team of experts and work closely with your colleagues on exciting national and international infrastructure projects. Your finest task in our team will be to contribute to the development of our business within surveying by planning, collecting and processing data in connection with various infrastructure projects. 

On a day-to-day basis, you will, among other things:
› Plan and organize data collection and processing in connection with infrastructure projects
› Process and collect data by UAV
› Execute laser scanning at various infrastructure projects 
› Maintain and develop relations with customers and appear as trustworthy and confident expert within your field
› Continiously develop and fine tune our services to meet our customers' need.

Your days at work will consist of a combination of field work such as colleting data and exciting academic tasks within data processing and customer contact.

Furthermore, you should:
› Preferably hold a university degree potentially within eg. engineering, land surveying, geography/GIS or the like
› Have 0-3 years of experience with surveying, UAV data collection or the like
› Have experience with GIS
› Be familiar with photogrammetry and/or lidar
› Have great communicative skills in English both written and verbally.

A UAV certificate is not required and can be obtained during the employment. 
It should be expected that in connection with your job, there will be some travel activity in Denmark and/or abroad.
