Does crafting "World Class user experiences" sound like an exciting challenge?

This fantastic role will give you the ability to apply all your know-how in User Centered Design, Design Thinking and Service Design to delight our internal end users.

Your core responsibilities

• Design experiences for digital products (mobile apps & portals); think and iterate beyond screen UI
• Closely and iteratively collaborate with a diverse and passionate group of UX researchers, Interaction Designers, Developers, and Product Owners, and on various software enhancements, services, and features
• Skilled in and thrilled by conducting user tests and synthesizing data at various stages of the product development lifecycle
• Determine the design tasks required on a project
• Execute efforts related to applying research methodologies, building architecture, ideation, and prototyping
• Partner with product teams to identify UX value measures aligned with product objectives
• Lead some of the LEGO UX Academy modules through a mix of classroom instruction and project mentorship
• Serve as ongoing mentor to Academy graduates and coordinate design support for their product teams as needed.

In our department, UX Mobility & Portals, we make sure that digital products are addressing the needs of the LEGO Business Technology partners.

We also develop and help develop software solutions and apps for complete life-cycle utilizing the newest technology with a dedicated focus on reusability and scalability in our digital platforms.

Do you have what it takes?

We wish to hire someone who holds a Master in IT Engineering, Informatics, Computer Science or similar with a passion for user behaviour, or alternatively an anthropology or psychology background with a deep understanding of user behaviour as well as having +3 years of experience in user-centric development (UX/UCD/HCI).

Experience working on projects involving some digital workflows for Procurement, HR, or Support is a plus (With platforms like Coupa, Workday, ServiceNow for example).

Besides this you have a track record proving your solid experience in mobile, desktop and web platforms and the ability to incorporate processes and procedures in an IT department. You also feel confident and experienced in presenting and explaining work to stakeholders and colleagues.

Just as important you are agile and flexible to adapt the design process based on project needs, yet able to explain important consequences of tradeoffs. This is including being accustomed to voicing support for the benefits of a human-centered approach to design with a win-win-win mentality for you, for partners, and for the end user.
