Vacancy: Project Advisor (Temporary Position)

One of our team members will be away soon on maternity leave and we are looking for a person to join our team for the next year. The North Sea Region Programme Secretariat is looking for a skilled advisor with experience in project development and administration. Aside from advising projects and assessing applications, tasks will include training activities, drafting texts and articles, and supporting fellow team members with other programme-related work.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and working experience from project development, coordination and administration, preferably in an Interreg context. A background from a research and/or public administrations environment as well as experience and an interest in regional development is desirable. Experience in working with project finances will be an advantage. The successful candidate will likely have at least some years of working experience in the field.

The chosen candidate will have excellent written and spoken English and an interest in European policy issues.

Deadlines & other

The salary level will be based on the candidate's qualifications. The job is located in Viborg, Denmark and may involve travelling to programme events in the participating countries of the Programme (this depends on the easing of travel restrictions due to Covid). The closing date for applications is 7 May 2021. Interviews will be held upon agreement online or in Viborg, Denmark in May/June; anticipated in week 21 or 22.
