VIKING seeks a Mobility Business Process Coordinator

Join a global leader - and help build a safer world

Come work for a company that makes a difference
VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S leads its field and our mission is clear: We are committed to protecting and saving lives all over the world. We do it through continuous innovations in safety equipment, service and training. And we bring great people together to help make it happen.

Develop your skills the international way
Join our team as we develop game-changing solutions from the world’s largest cruise ships and ferries to cargo vessels and oil rigs operating from the Arctic to the tropics. We offer a dynamic and inspiring workplace, where you’ll be surrounded by competent colleagues from many different nations. We see the world as our home market – and we think and act from a global perspective.

Want to come aboard?
We are currently looking for a Mobility Business Process Coordinator to join our Business Process team in the Global IT department. You will be based in Esbjerg, but work in a cross-regional organization with colleagues in Denmark and Thailand.

Primary tasks
The Business Process department is - among other things - responsible for developing mobile solutions for our end-users.

The position is new and will focus on:

  • Discovering new possibilities within business use of mobile technologies, e.g. SAP Cloud Platform
  • Technology operations of existing and new mobile platforms and solutions
  • Project management and participation
  • Development tasks
  • Ad hoc tasks

As a person, you have a high level of integrity and a strong sense of urgency. You are results-oriented, energetic and structured with great interpersonal skills and you know how to maintain a positive business climate in a global setting.

As the position is truly global, you must be fluent in Danish and English (spoken and written). You may be expected to travel 5 - 10 days per year.

Why VIKING?
We always strive to be the best and to raise the bar when it comes to safety. We are proud to support new and exciting products as well as new markets. Our working environment is informal, yet professional – and a good sense of humor is always welcome.

Where?
VIKING is proud to be located in Esbjerg - the center of a thriving region with a strong, professional business environment, outstanding nature and plenty of opportunities for sports and cultural events.

How to apply
Please submit your motivated application and CV - in Danish or English - as soon as possible by clicking the “send application” button located at the top-right side of the page. Applicants will be contacted continuously and the position will be filled once we have found the right candidate. All applications are handled confidentially.

Desired start date: August 2018.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Global HR Business Partner Jane Simonsen at +45 2542 8269.
