Chemours is seeking a Workday Senior Consultant to join our recently reorganized Human Resources Operations team! This position will report directly to the HRIS Manager and can be located remotely or in any of the existing Chemours locations.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide expertise and bring solutions in multiple modules in the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) suite (HCM Core, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Learning)
  • Lead the following as a member of a deployment team, or coach others to successfully: gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solutions, and complete knowledge transfer to clients
  • Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions
  • Resolve complex tasks/requirements when other team members need support
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively on team-based projects
  • Facilitate clients’ intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices
  • Provide regular status reports to the project managers keeping them apprised of the overall project status
  • Innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications
  • Ensure functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation (assist integrators in configuring/testing integrations between Workday and external systems)
  • Demonstrate computational thinking. Identify problem components, analyze patterns, remove inefficient configurations or processes, and construct algorithmic solutions scalable to ongoing client needs
  • Contribute to and mold a culture of continuous education among your colleagues, mentees, and managers - serve as a professional role model
  • Lead from operations new implementations, divestitures, and acquisitions providing best solutions
  • Responsible to keep systems with the latest updates
  • In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in IT or a related field
  • Workday certification
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • 3+ years in a similar position
  • Office 365 tools
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
  • Possess growth mindset
  • The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit :

  • Advanced degree
  • Green or Black Belt Certification
  • Experience working in the chemicals industry
  • Experience in SOX controls
  • Experience on Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Report Writer, iLoads, XML, XSLT, XSD, SOAP, Web Services, HTML, Excel, SQL, Eclipse, Java, J2EE
  • Functional Human Resource experience
  • Experience deploying multiple HCM projects simultaneously
