In the role as Workplace Student you will be part of a diverse team from various backgrounds, which create an exciting platform for development and knowledge sharing. We are looking for an ambitious and practical Workplace Student with an interest in and knowledge of Commercial Interior Design. Our ideal candidate has a passion for design and space planning and a keen interest in the positive impact a well-designed office has on people and organizational performance. The position will be 15-20 hours per week and offers flexible working hours.
In CREM we have an informal tone and you will receive support and coaching from the workplace manager and other team members. You can also expect to participate in formal training courses on e.g. negotiation, project management or presentation techniques.

Key responsibilities

You will have an active role in running projects related to workplace for different Brands across the globe. You will be given responsibility early on and will be held accountable the same as any other team member. There is significant room to grow and take on more responsibility as you gradually become more familiar with the business. Your main responsibility will be to, in collaboration with workplace manager and regional managers, consult various Maersk Brands on how to modernize their offices.
As Workplace Student Assistant you are fully responsible for your own work-streams and you will be exposed to a variety of tasks e.g.:
• Supporting Brands in workplace projects – internal advisor
• Develop and maintain our Policy and Office Guidelines
• Research, develop and help implement workplace strategies and concepts
• Gather and evaluate information regarding existing sites and future requirements
• Evaluate and give feedback on design proposals, layout plans end branding suggestions
• Ad hoc workplace and CREM related tasks

We are looking for

It is a requirement that you are currently studying to become an architect, a space designer, a Building Technician (bygningskonstruktør) or similar. You should have at least 2 years left of your studies. We imagine our future colleague to be innovative and creative but most importantly you must be a self-starter, who thrives on taking ownership and who has the ability to implement change. You possess problem-solving skills and you have a structured work approach. You have an insight in and passion for office design and know of the typical phases, processes and requirements concerning the typical commercial project.
You have an interest in:
• Workplace design, space planning and its influence on people and performance
• Global organizations
• Project Management
• Change Management and user involvement
• Commercial furniture, finishes, graphics and accessories

Software and computer skills: relevant presentation software.
Fluent Danish language is a plus. 

Further:
You have an excellent academic performance – and more importantly, you have independent drive, are goal orientated and want to make a difference. You have a positive approach towards handling basic and more complex project tasks.
You have an international mind-set and are ready to utilize foreign language skills.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, hence you are service minded and can build rapport with people on all levels.
