Associate Manager for Launch & Scaling QC in Emerging Technologies

The Position
As an Associate Manager for one of your teams in Launch & Scaling QC in Emerging Technologies (ET), you will be in the driving seat for ensuring analytical methods for new drug products thrive without disrupting the flow of analysis of existing products. Launch & Scaling QC is responsible for supporting and optimizing of analytical methods across QC departments across the world in Emerging Technologies. The department is a new established area; thus your job will be to develop your team further or from the beginning to fulfil our ambitions to Pioneer the Future and Embrace the unknown. Your team is being built as we speak. You will have a unique opportunity to join a department, where we are growing to keep up with market demands.
Among your main responsibilities, you will:
Lead and drive your team.
Daily management and operations.
Establish processes, roles & responsibilities.
Shape future collaboration with stakeholders.
Work cross-organizationally within Novo Nordisk.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you:
Hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Military or related field.
Possess people management experience and leadership toolbox.
Have pharmaceutical industry experience with regulatory requirements and GMP.
Preferably have experience in working with manufacturing production.
Are fluent in English.
You have a pioneer spirit and excel in build-up phases, where you, despite of a lot of unknowns and changes, succeed in keeping your team engaged and with a clear direction.
As a leader, you balance leadership and management, communicate well, and work effectively with stakeholders. You think cross-functionally and find the best solutions for the business. You are independent, take initiative, and challenge current practices.
About the Department
Emerging Technologies is a newly established area in Novo Nordisk and is responsible for handling both the oral drug product portfolio as well as incoming products and novel production platforms. Within Emerging Technologies, the Launch & Scaling QC department secures analytical optimization of marketed products, analytical validations etc. are aligned with authority expectations. The department currently consists of 25 employees in two teams and is expanding rapidly to 3 teams to prepare for new drug products.
